Sciemus appoints Aitchison as Space Insurance Director

9th January 2012 - Sciemus today announced the appointment Paul Aitchison as Director of Space Insurance.

Paul will be responsible for Space Risk Underwriting and the growth of consulting and technical review of risks for Sciemus Space. Paul will be starting at Sciemus on January 16th working from the company's London based office on Cornhill.

Prior to joining Paul was a founder of Kane Group, which has grown to be the world's largest independent insurance and captive management firm. Paul has 25 years experience as a Space and Aviation Broker at Willis Group and Benfield and has been involved with Sciemus since the company's foundation, placing the original reinsurance capacity supporting Sciemus Space. Paul has an MBA from Henley Management College focused on the electronic distribution and mediation of Space and Aviation risks.
