We have also targeted providers who supply data on a broader scope to the insurance and finance markets, this has allowed us to not only collect uncensored information, but has also given us the opportunity to collect large quantities of Event Data for the sectors we operate in.

Ordnance Survey

Ordnance Survey is Great Britain's national mapping agency, providing the most accurate and up-to-date geographic data. The intelligence provided by Ordnance Survey is used by insurers to help reduce fraud, plan for contingencies or help comply with Solvency II. Updated daily and made available every 6 weeks, Ordnance Survey's addressing and mapping products are the most precise available in Great Britain, used extensively to accurately underwrite profitable business the industry relies on.

QinetiQ

As well as being a Research & Development Partner through housing domain and development expertise in the areas Sciemus has developed models in, QinetiQ have also played a crucial role in providing the data for our models to run on. 

QinetiQ began collecting data on satellites and space launches while still part of the Ministry of Defence. When approached by Sciemus in 2002, QinetiQ had operational and event data on nearly all commercial satellites launched from around the world. This data has been used to build a historical environment for the Sciemus SpaceRAT (Space Risks Analysis Tool) to run on, with a record of all major commercial satallites events and failures, current in-orbit satellites can be analysed with greater accuracy and consistency.

Strategic Power Systems, Inc®. (SPS) is a Reliability Engineering and Information Technology company in the Energy Industry. As a third-party, independent and unbiased resource, SPS is a leader in the collection, analysis and reporting of plant data.

SPS works alongside Sciemus to provide us with the power generation data we use to run Sciemus PowerRAT and WindRAT. The data SPS supply provide PowerRAT with the capabilities to analyse over 8,000 power plants worldwide, allowing us to break down over 220,000 critical plant components that are integrated into our PowerRAT modelling analysis.
